Working on an IDS 228 with voicemail system on a card in the pbx. The VM hard drive was making bad sounding noises, so I pulled the card and copied the hard drive contents to another hard drive.
The system boots up and loads a bunch of stuff, then stops with "Incorrect Software Version" error.
Any advice?

You can't just copy the hard drive to a new drive. You'll have to get it reactivated...

That's probably just an indicator noise to let you know it's working.
