I have a Talkx vm (DOS about 15 yrs old) and we have been having problems for 2 months. When we forward a message, we get "That mailbox is full and cannot receive any new messages". The mailbox is not full and it happens on any mailbox. I cleaned out the old messages and got the hard disk up to 60% free but then the hard disk fills up very fast (20% free in a week). The Talkx is very similar to the Infostar VX2 (same files--btr extension, etc). Does anyone know what is wrong? I cleaned up the files, defragged off line, Norton Disk Doctor, etc. Thanks alot.

If it is like the older software VX2 systems there may still be messages in the mailboxes. I would use Xtpro software to look at the mailboxes off line and find the messages in the mailboxes via the DOS tree. You can see the files (messages) that may be stuck on the drive and delete them that way. Or if you have one that doesn't have that many hours on it that is another reason it's filling up so fast. The number of mailboxes also effects disk space as well as COS settings. I.E. if you have the COS of the mailboxes set high on message length and greeting length that takes up space.
