Is there anyway to tell what version a CPU is by just inspecting it? Is it marked on a chip or something?
Any help would be nice.

Thanks

Yes and No. You would have to look at the PAL chip, but that only gets you a certain range, for example a version 5.1 to a 5.119 would have the same PAL chip. So by looking at the PAL chip number I could tell that its somewhere between a 5.1 and a 5.119. If theres no PAL chip then your out of luck. Remember that the AXXESS CPU's are flashed their version, not all, but most.
