It is most likly the provider, have them check the echo cancelers on the circuit. The echo will not come from the card or system.

Well the phone guy we use screwed everything up by adjusting the gain for the transmit side downto -12db. Now some of our clients can't hear us. Also voice mail boxes that we try to leave messages on can't receive the message. I did some research and found out the 550.2730 card we had could do PRI if we bought nad installed a daughter card. If our phone system has version 4.4 and the 550.2740 was updated to 5.0 or above would this cause problems with our other equipment?

the 550.2740 came out a few years ago and is backwards compatible with 4.x. There is a hardware chip, PRI Security PAL, req'd to enable PRI. This is not as clunky as the PRI Daughter board for the 550.2730. Also, the 550.2730, required a different chip set based upon the version of the Axxess. So a 3.x system had different chips than a 4.x than a 5.x system. This may be one of your problems as well.

Can you shoot me an e-mail with those different part numbers for the different versions for T1's? Also if you have a list of different numbers for CPU chips for different versions I would also like that.
Thanks

I was wondering if anyone knows of an Inter-tel tech that would work in Phoenix, AZ on a 4.4 system with a 550.5166 VM system, CPUPCM, several other cards and the 550.2740 PRI card. Inter-Tel does not want to work on it unless it's upgraded to a 8.0 version. [Linked Image from sundance-communications.com]
