how hard is it to change software versions on a axx-talk voicemail machine?

is it better to use OS2 or NT? i have access to both 4.4 versions...

Asking because, recently picked up a used unit, and not sure what version is loaded. still waiting on its arrival

any possible headaches that I may encounter?

Usually, changing software revisions on the VM is pretty easy regardless of OS. OS/2 is command line driven while NT is not. If you ever want to migrate to the latest software versions, you may want to stick with the NT version as the OS/2 has been retired. Typically when upgrading the core Axxess, you want to step the Dbase, but VM can be taken direct to the next version.
