Can I monitor individual trunks to find a problem? We are having some people say that can't hear us. So we hang up and try again we get a different trunk and the problem is gone.

are these loop-start or channels on a T1?

Regardless of signaling, dial the individual trunk feature code (or with PRI, put each trunk in a different trunk group if direct trunk will not work on some co's.) to see if any fail consistently.

Each truck is numbered, normally starting at 94065, dial that number from keypad and then dial telephone number to check lines. If callers calling in are having problems try the lower numbered trucks, and if your employees are calling out when the problem occures, use the higher number trunks.
