I am having some echoing from time to time on an Axess v4.4 system. The T1, E&M wink, is brought in from GC, hits an Adtran Tsu100 where I split channel 24 off into a DSO for a remote location.
The T1C card is set to-7.5db tried setting to the DSX1 setting but keeps reverting back.
The TSU only has line lenghts for its buildout 1-100 feet and so on.. and the TSU is located less then 100 feet from the KSU
I am getting a clean signal to the T1C when checking the error logs.
the echoing is more frequent on the analog ports using an SLC card. the first 6 ports are used for on-air radio calls. and the echoing sometimes causes a problem for the host
I have checked the send and recieve levels on for the hybrids in the on-air phone system.
I personally have not noticed echoing on the digital sets but one person keeps complaing more so, happens about once every couple of weeks.
i am sure there is something in the programming i am overlooking but what?
or is this a problem with the digital set? the SLC or global crossings?
ahhh the joys of intermentin problems...

99 percent of echo problems is the provider even. Have they checked the echo cancelers? ------------------ || Need a Telephone || Telecom Bulletin Board
