I had this problem for awhile, just wondering if anyone else is. 45p sets the lite on line 1 and some times line 2 will not lite. Phone works fine just the lite does not work. Sent to King for repair but they do n't always fix the problem. Any thoughts.

There was an issue with line 1 and the blue display not working but green did. I hadn't heard of this issue on line 2. Send them back in and make a very clear not about this. I'm not sure anybody really tests anything unless you tell them what to test for.
If you can get King to repair stuff correctly you're doing better than I can. I throw away out of warranty stuff, it isn't worth the hassle.
One of the last 45Ps I got back they didn't even bother putting the screws in that holds down the motherboard, ALL of them were just laying in the cabinet. When UPS delivered the box I was wondering what it was that sounded like a coffee can full of nails. Unbelievably it's happened again. I've also received wrong power cords for the power bricks (there's a square computer type and a triangular type). One 45P came back with a voice mail card and an option card in it (not what I sent). Obviously it was a bad unit sent in and somebody just sent it to me. There where an interconnect's stickers on the cabinet and cards and both the cabinet and voice mail were bad.
I've had some conversations with XBlue about this but King is King, they probably won't change. Unless there's a simple issue with cabinets like a CO or station port I just pitch them, warranty or not.

Preety much same here. This does not say much for XBlue. May have to rethink using 45p. X-16 does not have this problem. XBlue should be dealing with King about this problem.

Had a 45P (old Abrivo) that had been badly dropped and the hookswitch was limp. Took the case apart, hookswitch seemed fine, put it all back together and it worked.
Glad I didn't send it to King. And, it was for a horrid shrew who we were very nice to, put it in nicely, and when the cordless phones were not produced as soon as we thought they would be, turned into the nastiest, most hateful bitch in the world. Finally, we did not return her calls and never did sell her a cordless.
X-Blue asked me to deal with it and I did of course, but thankfully she insisted on leaving it at a drop off point and I didn't have to see her face to face again.

We dropped the 45p due to the issue of msg lights giving off a buzzing sound. The x16 has been a good system though. It sounds like it is tough for Xblue to convince the makers of the system to actually fix some things. They told us that the msg light issue will not be fixed.

I'm not too sure which is more unpleasant, dealing with Tecom or hitting yourself in the face with a hammer. Some things they rectify overnight, others you might as well walk outside and talk to a tree.
XBlue has done a good job for a small company. We've installed over 90 45P systems, 60 for one customer alone with voicemails, and the buzz complaint only came up once. We swapped it for an X16 and the customer was pleased.
One big plus for Tecom systems is usually if they have no problems for a month or so they'll last forever. I have a huge number of the old Vodavi DHS systems installed in very hostile locations and they flat out don't die. The 45P appears it will follow this tradition.
