I am not a 3Com guy, but got a call from a client who just took over admin duties for a 3Com V6100. The previous admin changed the admin privileges.
He needs to change the time, but cannot do so with the privileges he has. Is there a backdoor user name & password that would allow access to full admin privileges? He has tried calling HP, but they will not support the VCX, only the NBX.

The 6100 is a VCX product and you should still be able to get support on that product. It looks to an NTP server for its time.

Why does he contact you and not 3com directly? Where dird he get his connection from?
