Hi Everyone

I have a 2951 CME (4.0) and when we try and connect up a phone we get "registration rejected, maximum number of phones" - I know we haven't got anywhere near 96 phones on the system and I don't believe there is a lower or higher license for ephones - so is the only answer that I have too much junk on the system?

Can anyone explain what is determined as a 'license' being taken - is it just concurrent data in the ephone config (I do everything from CLI btw).?

cheers

I would check max ephone and max ephone dn on the config. Phone License on CME v4 is an honor system which show that you did have it on paper.
