OP Mr.Telephone Man Member Joined: Aug 2005 Posts: 259 B.C., Canada	I have a customer that has 2 Polycom SoundStation2W -wireless conference phones. Both phones have lost communication to the bases. On the base the power light is on. I have defaulted them and tried to reregister them but registration fails. I do not know what happened to them, as why both died at the same time????? in 2 different boardrooms. Not sure if the computer guy tried to update the firmware and caused the trouble or what? any help would be appriciated!

I called polycom, and even though the units are out of warranty, they are sending refurbished replacement units free of charge. Tech support guy said sometimes the system upgrade will fix the trouble He said the firware is corupted
