I recently moved an old Inter-Tel GLX system from one building to another. Everything went down without a hitch... Until they tried testing incomming calls. The LINE blinks but the phones do not ring like they did before the move. I didn't change anything in the programming. Anyone have a clue?

Your system is back to default.
Either the batt is dead or the prg en switch was left on when you powered it down which would default it. Turn the prg en switch to on then go to a phone and press # 2 then press the lines you want to ring at that station, then pick up the hand set and hang it up again, you should hear a confirmation tone. Repeat at each set you want to ring. When finished turn the prg en switch to off.

There is no battery in the holder... looks like a CR2032 goes there... anyone know for sure what battery the GLX takes?

Thanks!

I'm 99% sure you are correct and it is a CR2032.

The manual does not specify. If I get a chance, I'll try to have someone pull the cover off ours and follow up.

Good luck!

I lost power and my phones are not ringing. How do I program them to ring? GLX-Phones.

Thanks

This recent thread goes into a little more detail about ringing. Not trying to sound mean but there is a SEARCH function that works pretty well. Thats how I found this.
