got my test bench mbx switch and i have the sbx phones working and the sts phones working but i can't seem to get the 3015, 9015 phones to work....they say reg. denied on the screen, any insite would help thanks

From what we were told in the Webinar, support of these phones requires a software key, similar to how the XTS does for certain upgrades. It is in there, it just needs to be unlocked. I'm sure that there is a charge for this.

oh ok, cuz when i went to target for the training, the trainer said they were plug and play. He didnt mention anything about a software key. May have to place a call into tech support to find out

From what I was told on my training there is no charge for the activation of Edge 700 / XTS / Triad / Infinite / Comdial phones. You just have to be a Comdial or Vodavi dealer to get the codes. If you aren't a dealer you can only use SBX or STS phones. You can get the licenses from Vertical Inside Sales

The backlight doesn't work for the Edge phones on the MBX, so until they add that feature you might as well use the SBX phones.
