3 years ago, when I started installing the SBX I spent a lot of time with my test system trying to figure out what everything does. I came up with my own cheat sheet that I would use to pre-program all my systems. If anyone is interested in a copy, send me a pm. I am not in the business anymore, but after I got to know the system I liked it.

If you're loading an old database make sure to go into the initialization tables and initialize for whatever version of software the system is at)2.0, 2.5,3.0 or 3.5).
I keep a backup of each system I program then just apply whatever load is similar for what I need.

One other thing that came up for me. If you take a db from a system with VMIB and apply it to a system without VMIB, any message lights that are on will continue to be on in the new system.
The only way to turn off the lights is to plug in a voicemail card, or wait days/weeks until the message lights turn off. You can't cancel the message lights.
