MBX system, cannot get the system to outside caller transfer a CCR digit to a speed dial. When dialing internally (67001) the forward to the speed dial works great. But when testing from an outside line, the system just cuts the call off.
Also- Button programming for Speed Dials. While attempting to program flex buttons, I set the TYPE to SPEED, but the VALUE box is not open for editing. Trying to save just errors out the VALUE box. HELP!

Is your unspervised conf timer set to short?

It's set to the default 10 min. I found what the issue was for the CCR dial, in CO to CO attributes PGM179, the Direct setting for Incoming Group 1 / Outgoing Group 2 was set to DISABLE.
I still cannot figure out how to make create a SPEED dial on a flex button.
Also HOLD RECALL TIMER?? where is it??

I am starting to wonder about the logic of this system. The hold timer is set under tone timer pgm 290 index 55 hold, 58 park. You can choose what is heard on hold...vm announcement, moh. Choose one of them and then choose the "tone (hold) time"
You can program an outside number directly to a button without using a speed dial feature code, that is what the documentation says anyway.

Perfect, wow that was really piled under there.
For the flex buttons I am currently using the DIAL NUMBER feature in place of the SPEED feature.

Try using the user guide instructions for station speed dial to a button but dial the system bin number instead. Make sure the bin has a number in it first.
