I need help with Caller-ID. I have a Axxess/Eclipse2 version 6.0 with 3 nodes tied together with T1 cards. All CO lines are analog loop start on LSC cards and I have DKSC-16+. Is it posible to use the LSC and/or DKSC-16+ to receive caller-id information? Or, will I need a T1/E1/PRI card?
Thanks

Yes, go into Individual trunk programming, and place a check in Caller ID rather than in none. (might be a drop down menu) ------------------ Voice and Data Cabling in DFW, [email protected] DnR Communications

Working with the CO I found out that our CO cannot provide Caller ID over an analog line. According to the manual I can use the T1/PRI (P/N 550.2740) with the PRI PAL (P/N 827.8877). In My Axxess/Eclipse version 6.0, I have the Advanced CO activated in the Premium Feature. Other than working with our CO, is there anything else I will need to purchase to get the Caller ID working.
Thanks

I find it hard to believe that the telco there cannot provide CID on your copper lines. That would mean that they also cannot send it to local houses? Something sounds funny. ------------------ Avaya Telephone Repair Intertel Telephone Repair [This message has been edited by paul144 (edited May 26, 2005).]

Thanks</font> Sounds very funny. But test it. Call from your office to a nearby company using the same Telco Provider, and see if they recieve call id. Now if with a very small mom and pop CLEC then they may not be able to provide caller ID, and you may find it hard to locate another customer of theres nearby. ------------------ Voice and Data Cabling in DFW, [email protected] DnR Communications
