My office is in an industrial park that has very unreliable copper plant from Verizon. Many of us are using CLECs for our phone/data service, so of course the failure of T1 circuits affects everything. One customer has had five significant outages in the five months they've been here. Ours has been pretty bad as well.

Unfortunately, the local CATV provider (Cox) cherry-picks the buildings that they service here and our complex isn't one that they're interested in.

I was asked if there is some kind of multi-line cellular device that is available. I know that there are docking stations for most single cell phones, and there are also units for alarm systems, but is there anything better? I'm thinking of something that might provide the equivalent of four lines to feed into a typical phone system.

I'm sure you've looked at Tellular. How about daisy chaining 4, so to speak. Maybe you can get a volume discount. smile

Get your city or county commissioners involved with this. The business community carries weight and franchise agreements can be denied.
