This could get a little lengthy so bear with me.
We are currently using an Axxess 8.2 system.
Our offices are open from 8:30am to 5:30pm Monday - Friday.
We have 2 call centers who stay open until 7pm. I would like to set up STAR applications for these 2 call centers so that we can put the rest of the building into Nite Mode and allow these 2 centers to continue to receive calls.
My Question is this... If I set up a STAR APP for each of these groups that will automatically put them into night mode at 7pm, will calls that are in the queue get cut off or will they be able to get through even though the system is in night mode?

You'd have to check the Call Routing Table for night mode. If the DID is routed to the star app day and night, then you're alright.

I would also set your main number up in a STAR, and then you do not need to Manually put the system in Night Mode. ------------------ Voice and Data Cabling in DFW, [email protected] DnR Communications
