I recently installed a C-Class for a customer and they only have 12-button phones, so I'm unable to get into programming. The customer says that he has had that system before and the last technician was able to program it and record the AA greetings without it. Is this true? Can I program the system any other way than with a 24 button phone? Also is there a way to record the AA greeting without the 24 button phone? Thanks in advance.

You can use the "remote setting menu" (see your admin guide) while listening to the company main greeting. To listen to the active main greeting press 1 from any phone.

I have the installers manual, the administrators manual, and the user guide but I can't find the "remote setting menu". Can you please tell me where to look if it's not in those manuals?

Hummm...you must have two of these systems as I see another post asking how to default the system.

I think there are probably a boat load of ESI dealers in LA. I recommend calling one of them and they can help you immediately.

Hi, Mexamese:

Welcome aboard. Please try to make a note of the date of the posts to which you respond. This particular one is old enough to where the original matter has likely been resolved.

Your eagerness to assist is appreciated, but we need to make sure that we aren't dragging up threads that are already dead. Thanks in advance.

They make 12 key phones ..... it was the smallest in the line of 12, 24 and 48 key phones.
