Hello would anyone know what i use for a pause in the follow me command.I have a problem on a Teleco card were i have call forward busy no answer on extentensions i am using #6041 5000 were by 5000 been pilot number for voice mail. It works were there is no answer and goes to the extenten message after a certain amount of rings but on busy it goes to the main greeting of voice card not extenten message .Been told that the Toshiba prefers to have ring back before transfer not sure what that is? need to put a pause to the back end of the number which would me #6041 pause 5000 need to know what symbol pause is .Thank You

You should be using system call forwarding. Set up SCF 1 for BNA, and the pilot number of the VM. Then set that extention's system call forwarding.
I've never needed any 'pauses' for VM operation.
You can try '*' followed by 1-9. So '*3' would be a three second pause... but I don't believe it will work outside of speed dials.

It's the SMDI packet that tells the Teleco if the call is being forwarded from a busy-station condition or a no-answer condition. Therefore, you will need to adjust the Teleco to treat the busy condition the same as a no-answer condition. It has nothing to do with the call forward codes.
