I have a MICS with 2 line cards and an exp mod with 1 line card. It has a voice mail system attached. It has worked great for several years. This morning it has rebooted about five times already. It is not the outlet, I checked to make sure it had clean power. Any ideas where should I start; cabinet, software, line card, fiber exp card, exp mod? I don't have spares of any one these so troubleshooting is tough. Any help would be great.
Thanks,

I recently dealt with a similar scenario - ended up having to replace the cabinet/backplane.

Is it attached to a UPS?

If so, plug it into the AC outlet directly. Last week I had a Samsung that the IT guy had plugged into an expensive UPS and the system was rebooting.

I told him to plug it into the wall but he was sure the system was at fault and would not plug it into the wall but tried a different UPS. Problem solved, it was the UPS.

It could be your PS on the MICS, I can't remember if they are switchable or not, am not close to the supply shed to check if they are swappable or not.

Sounds like the PS to me, they are easily swappable with one screw.
