Hi,

i am installing a new Analog card which is having two ports and the card is having 16 extensions i need to connect a 8 pair cable to each jack . i dont know about the color code how to connect it.

please help me.

Google RJ61 and you will see color pictures. Basically the center pair is the first extension, then next outer two are the second etc. So it would go 1-8,2-7,3-6,4-5.

Four extensions per RJ45 plug.

Two RJ61's for eight (eight extensions )

sorry, i need total 16 extensions as i am having only 2 ports on the analog card

You must have an 8 port card then.

BTW, they do make tails for this from NEC so you don't have to crimp ends on wire for 25 pair tails.

1st, what kind of card is it? In what kind of NEC system? 2nd, RJ45 is a Bell System designation. An 8-pin modular pinout is dictated by the manufacturer based on their "nomenclature". Please provide more details on your situation.
