I have been asked by my customer to set up a STAR program to use with holidays. It is on a 5000 ver 5.0. I know how to do the basic holidays and make it go into night or day. These use applications. My question is: how can I get it to go to a CRA at night and on holidays, but direct ring to a phone set during the day. They also want to be able to have a message come on if they have a meeting during the day with no phones ringing in(fwding the ringing phone to a CRA). That will have a message about the meeting. Any ideas???

Since the STAR routing destination has to be an application, point it to a CRA that times out to the extension for live answer.
For meetings, use a DND forwarding path to voice mail or manually forward that station to a CRA that times out a mailbox. I’m really liking the configuration assistant feature for forwarding; maybe that’s an option.

It should. Make sure that Expanded CO Call Information on Displays and Outside Party Call Information Has Priority station flags are enabled.
Point the Call Routing Table directly to the STAR.
