I have a customer with and IPK and an Elite Mail LX, and they are getting a low disk space message when logging into voicemail. I have checked all mailboxes and greetings (incl. transaction boxes) and there is nothing abnormal there; virtually no messages and normal greeting lengths. Anyone run into this and have a fix? I'm thinking maybe large log files in Linux or possible corruption, but don't know how fix this on Linux.

Get hold of a copy of WinSCP and go to the /OPT/VMAIL directory and see if there are a series of .core files there . If there are delete them. They are created when the system is turned off without the mail being shut down correctly. Bit like a .CHK file in the fat32 world.
If there are none I suspect it will be a new CF card as has happened several times down here. No reason for the drive space to fill up. Also check the $FAX MBX as well. I have seen this full of delivery messages but not faxes. I also have a site with a UM8000 that has the same problem . 5 hours spare after deleting the .core files but no other MBXs with any content as such..

Thanks, Paul. I'll check this out tomorrow. I already have WinSCP, just didn't know what files to look for and delete.

Like Paul stated, they will be .core (dot core) files.
