I have a TDE200 with mainly DTXXX phones and have few of NTXXX phones which are working nicely. The networked phones are at a remote site and are networked via fiber and poe switch. The customer would like to add a Cordless phone to the remote site. Does anyone know of a solution I could use. I have seen the Panasonic TGP500 and 550 which are SIP phones. Has anyone used them, would they work for my scenario. Any assistance/advice is always appreciated.

Why not Install a Ip cell station/s and use the latest Portable stations?

Hi, The TGP500 and 550 work fine on remote sites. Load a SIP licence and away you go. Not as integrated as a proprietary IP phone, but works well if your latency is low. Cheers.

Thanks guys, ShawnC, been slow on Panasonic installs and was not aware of the IP cell station. Took a look at it and looks good. Not sure of customers needs to spend so much for one cordless. Panafonesnz, not sure of price of TGP and license but looking into it. Is there much configuring of the units? Thanks for the info. Will compare the two options. Thanks again.
