2 months ago we upgraded our phone system from 8.224 to 9.002. Since Daylight savings time ended every day @ midnight and noon our phone system jumps forward an hour. We have tried a few configs in Session Manager.

**One**
Time Zone = PST
Enable Daylight Savings Time = Yes
**Two**
Time Zone = PST
Enable Daylight Savings Time = No
**Three**
Time Zone = Local
Enable Daylight Savings Time = No
**Four**
Time Zone = Local
Enable Daylight Savings Time = Yes

With all we get the same results, the time jumps forward an hour.

Our system is set up as follows, and all PC's have the correct time.
NT VM, Call Center Suite, Oaisys, CT Gateway, Call Processing Server. Older IP phones with 4 cards setup as DKSC16.

I really hope someone here can help. Getting up early every day so the "STAR" application doesn't start the phone system prior to everyone arriving is getting old fast. Thank you all. help

We may have found the answer. The NT VM time was set to AZ time zone instead of Pacific. I am being told system manager doesn't get it's time from the VM server, but I should know if that fixed the problem in about 4.25 hours.

Are you leaving DB Studio logged in to the cabinet? If so don't. Log out after making the changes and make sure you do so via the "X" in the top right hand corner, not via the File pull down menu.

We had a strange problem with time setting a few years ago. It wasn't exactly the same but everyday we did have to reset the time.

This may not work for you but we were able to resolve the issue by sending a major reset to the cabinet, then logging back in and change the time, then send another major reset.

There were also some time issues with the old Premiers that could only be dealt with by setting the time from the phone instead of through the terminal.

Hope this helps. Keep up posted on your progress.

No, I only open DB Studio's to make my changes, and always close it when it is done. I set the timer to close DB after 20 Min. of innactivity, a new feature of 9.X.

Unfortunately, we are still dealing with this issue. I just tried the advice from MacGyver today. I will see if I can update this incident at noon to let you know if it worked or not. I can tell you I have never hit the X to close session manager before. Maybe that and the 2 major resets will do the trick. My fingers are crossed. Thanks again.
