I have a very strange problem with a hunt group.
If you call the line any of them in the group, and the call is not answered it will go to VM greeting and when it should beep for a message to be left it doesnt. It transfers the call back to the hunt group. I let it go 3 rounds of looping with out the ability to leave a VM.
settings are as follows.
All 4 numbers in the hunt group have the same mailbox id in them.
SCF is at 1 ( so if no answer or busy go to VM)for all 4 numbers.
Hunt Method is set to circular
no Pilot number, Pilot No. SCFwd is 1 ( no change if I set to 0 from one) Multiple DN hunt is Enabled and DHG Auto Campon is Disabled.
VM box is as follows
Store messaged checked
playdate/time checked
message pending not checked

All main settings check out to be the same for any other station mailbox.
Thanks in advance for any assistance.

I believe you have to have a pilot number assigned and that is what has to be called for the system cf to work.

Strange indeed, if you are actually getting to a vm message but getting transferred back before you can leave a message, I would start by looking at the vm box as it seems that is what is transferring the call back to the hunt group. Is the vm box set up to store messages, what does the done chain look like? When all else fails, delete and reprogram from scratch.

yes the box is set to save messages. Chain is all defaults, same settings for mailboxes that work correctly.
The only difference I see is in the extension field it has the H after the number. Trying to find my PDF document that tells me what that means as I do not remember of the top of my head if that matters.
