I know this system is super old but I am trying to get it so that when a guest calls from their room the cordless phone rings differently then when a call from the outside is coming in. I have had it set up this way in the past and I can not remember how I did it. Can someone please help me..

thank you

What do you mean ring differently. Different location or ring tone.

Ring tone.. It would ring like a normal phone when it was an outside call but when it came from the inside it would have a different tone.. any idea how to do that?

if you are refering to the option of discriminating ringing where an outside calls gives the double ring and inside normal ring then:
Command 100, System Options, Register 03, Tone and Ringing Control: 0 Discriminating Ringing (field f) must be set to 1 (Enable)

this would be the same for any internal call.

Then trunks will be 2 short rings and ext will be 1 long. HOWEVER, I've seen cordless phones stretch ring so they both wind up 1 long. frown
