I have a really bad echo on my SIP phones (i can hear myself talking really loud) only when i'm connected to a CO. I don't have the echo, or at least it's not noticeable, when i'm doing extension to extension.
Any suggestions on where to start??

There is an entire section on adjustments for echo cancellation in the Aspire manual, Voip section. I have had the same problems on Aspire S, and going through the listed adjustments generally takes care of it.

Thanks, i had overlooked the Aspire VOIP manual. It was very helpful. What seemed to work for me was to lower the trunk transmit gain which pretty much removed the echo. Since i didn't experience any echo on extension to extension calls, i didn't have to make any other adjustments.

Glad to hear that helped. I think I have had echo issues on every Aspire IP phone I have put in - but every time one of the adujustements seems to do the truck. Gain adjustments seem to be the biggest culprit.
