Looking for solution with an FX11. Customer has main site with FX11 and remote site across town connected with fiber. Would like to activate 4 phones to remote site off of FX11. Looking to extend IST (analog) ports off of FX11 using FXO/FXS gateways and VOIP. Anyone with any experince with this solution or others?

Yep we have used MultiTech FXS/FXO extenders to accomplish this.

Have a single IST port routed through Cisco PAP2T adapters. Distance about 350 miles! So yes is can be done and I had very good IT help to do it.

Thanks for the reply. Does the Multitech provide the ability to hookflash the IST port for call transfers? Can a stutter tone be passed on to the remote FXS location? Any reliabilty and voice quality issues?
Thanks,
