When a message is opened is the user be able to dial the number in the from field. Can any number in any email be dialed from the inn box if not from Gateway.

You will need an application that lets you dial numbers.
Samsung has several of them
Officeserv Communicator (both Standard and Professional)
Samsung Xchange (not sure if it's available in the US market)
All of these have the ability to select a number and dial it
