We have a Mitel IP phone system networked with an Axxess system. Until this morning everything was fine. But this morning a staff member reported that if she tries to call the digital site station to station, she can not hear them and they can not hear her. But if she dials the office phone number and then dials the extension, everything is fine. Any ideas?

My first thought would be an internet change or router change. If your public IP address was changed or a router was swapped and ports were not properly forwarded it could be the issue. You might start with www.whatismyip.com and see if that info is in the other switch as the address of the 600X connection and repeat from thew other side.

This is not a full network problem. It is just this one IP phone. All the other IP phones in this office to our knowledge work fine for station to station dailing. Also, we are a closed network, not public.
