Hey Guys- Good afternoon-
Working with an ESI 100- with a SIP trunk card- I originally hooked this up direct to our modem, using a public IP address, and when a call came in- I could see the caller ID- but when I pick up the phone, dead air, same as an outgoing call- dead air- ESI said to try to put it behind a router, did that- same thing- SIP Provider (Clearfly) says they cannot see the call trying to even go out the system, and they are getting an internal error- ESI verified all settings on the SIP card are correct and should be working- any thoughts?? Settings that might need changed??
Thanks

get a wire shark monitor on it. that's the only way you're going to know what is coming out of the card.

I have several ESI Systems using Clearfly and all work very good. I would be glad to help if you can't get satisfaction from ESI. Paul

awesome- thanks Paulat0TI, The entire system is back with ESI now- Have you connected it directly to a modem, or did you use a router- I was under the impression you could just hook it up to the modem, and ESI said we had to get a router, bought the router, same exact issue was going on-
