Does anyone have an IP Office installation working with no problems on FIOS.

As part of the restoration after Huricane Sandy we are being told by Verizon that they are no longer doing copper repairs and we must move to FIOS.

This is for a Fire Dept dispatch point and just do not want to add any more problems then we already have. I guess my T-1's that have the last mile delivered on copper will be next to go.

If you want to see Verizon's level of incompetance look at the posts in the Complaint Dept

FiOS delivering what- POTS or SIP?

I have may Partners with POTS trunks delivered via FiOS and no problems. I have had problems with the IPO and POTS delivered via a cable modem that I have been told also sometimes happens with FiOS. The problem is you will hear ringing buzz through the handset for about a second when you pick up a call.

Well Verizon has had a change of heart, A tech showed up this morning to check that our service had been restored. Seems they had a problem in the CSV (duh)

Still am going to look into geting some FIOS lines to use as backup to the copper but they will be new numbers and my existing lines will remain untouched for now.

It's good to know that FIOS works reasonably well on IP Office, thanks to all that replyed
