Replaced 2-7895 phones w/ 2- 7896 phones. 1 phone works perfect. the other one sounds 2 quick rings when I hang phone up. Customer thinks that it also happens periodicly when phone is just sitting. Not sure about customers input, but I do know about rings upon hang up. The KSU is a 624.
I also thought I needed to tell each phone which phone system it was integrating with. I'm unable to do that, can't get to the proper screen.

Does the double ring happen on one phone on either port, or does it happen on both phones on one port. I'm thinking you don't have the base station switches set the same. Either that or you have MW on 1 port.

On the 624 w/ 7896 phones, each phone has to be plugged into its own separate port. I have not tried switching ports yet.
