Hello,

We have a TA-624 phone system with KXT7735 phones. On line 4 (CO4) calls will not be answered the same way as lines 1-3. The company greeting is heard. On line 4 the message is "Please enter your party's extension. To enter by name press the # followed by 1". How can I do the following?

1. Make the behavior the same as as if I were dialing lines 1-3.

more importantly.

2. How can I make a custom greeting for line 4 which is different from line 1-3.
3. How can I change the number of rings on line 4 from 2 rings to something more like 4 or 5 before using the automated attendant?

This may help you, but attempt these procedures at your own risk. Most of what you're trying to accomplish goes beyond the "end-user" scope of this board.

If the information in the link doesn't make sense, contact your installer. Depending on how much your time is worth, it might be cheaper just to do that anyway.

Thank you for that information. I think I need to look at the set up for the VMS (KX-TVS50) system. Somehow CO4 was taken out of the VM loop when it left the hunting group most likely.
