Hey Guys/Gals, I have a customer with an old elite 48 and an Elite Mail VMS-10. Problem is the default log in for cosessions (NEC) is no longer working as if someone has changed it. I have tried everything I know to log in and can't. Does anyone have any suggestions or backdoors to get in to this system?

I could give it a shot, is there a modem module on the vms card?

There isn't a modem on the board unfortunately. I wish I had your knowledge to do it myself. I also don't know if the customer would like it if I told them I was letting someone try to hack their system...lol... if you know what I mean. But if there is no other option then maybe I will present this to them. Just seems so bizarre that NEC would limit themselves like this.
