We have two clients who report that the system time on their TDA-100 is off by 5 - 10 minutes. It typically takes about 2 - 3 months for this to happen so it appears that the systems are slowly loosing the time. One system has a PRI and the other analog POTS lines. I thought the system tried to sync the date/time with the caller-id info from the phone company. Is that true? If so, why are they still losing the time. Could the phone company be sending the wrong date and time?
In the TDE/NCP systems you have an options for SNTP to keep the time. One of the two systems has a CTI Link card. Is there any option for using SNTP via the CTI link card? Any help would be appreciated. We have been dealing with this issue for a long time and the customer is starting to getting annoyed.
I don't know if it matters but one system is version 3.0018 and the other is 3.2002.
