Just took my IVP8 offline, and am installing a 4 port MicroMAS-H. I'm having an awful time getting my brain to understand how I go about setting up the voice ports on the CIX.

Does anyone have an I&M for the MicroMAS??
Or point me in the direction of one.

I would GREATLY appreciate it!

I am just curious, did you buy the MicroMAS without any installation from a dealer? The MicroMAS-H uses VoIP lines that connects to an LIPU or an MIPU card in the CIX200.

I don't want to stand up on a soap box and tell you the sins of trying to insatll these yourself, but it could be a little tricky for the first time.

Urgh..

I purchased it from a friend of mine who's a reseller/dealer.
He said as long as it's connected to the same switch my CIX is connected to, I wouldn't need anything else.

My CIX is connected to my switch via the LCTU LAN (and my friend knew this), I should have known it wasn't going to work that way!

How frustrating haha. Sorry to waste your time, and thank you for replying!

Ya, the processor doesn't handle any VoIP traffic at all. That is why you need an MIPU card. If it was a MIcroMAS-D, then it would connect to analog lines, but you would need a BSTU or RSTU.

This isn't wasting my time. I am just making sure you aren't wasting yours.
