Does anybody know if the hard disk drive on the IPK voice mail cards can be replaced if they fail? I would assume there is software on the hard disk that would have to be re-installed. (Or is the software actually firmware on the card, in which case it should be possible to just insert a formatted drive)

There is proprietary software on the HDDs and/or Flash Card, if I'm not mistaken. It's probably worth your while to replace the entire VM Card itself.
