So i have inherited a ds2000 system, I have no issue in programming and can easily do that. My issue is the client wants to have a company record professionally produced auto attendant messages. IS there a way to convert the files and import them to the Intramail CF card? or does all recording have to be done through the handset?

You could use dBpoweramp to convert the audio files, you would need an admin guide to figure out what codec and sample rate it needs though.

Thanks for th einfo, converting them is not an issue, i am just wondering how to import them into the intrmail CF card. I have a full dump of it but the layout makes no clear sense on how to find say AA 01 or AA 02 mailbox and dump the converted file into it.

you can get an audio adapter that goes between the handset and the Phone as hook it up to an audio player like the headphone jack of a laptop. The quality should be better than holding a handset to a speaker.

The only way I can think of to "import/inject" the is to dump the card to a directory, record a new greeting, dump the card again to another directory, then compare the 2 using a freeware compare utility. A delete duplicate file utility may work better. put the 2 folders on a flash drive and run the utility on it to find duplicates and see what is left over.
