Hi Installed a 7400 v4.60 with older Samsung softphones. The softphones work for a few minutes and then keep dropping, then they reconnect and then drop again every few minutes. However, I installed the 64 Bit Communicator from Samsung and this works perfectly. Can anyone confirm that the older type softphone is incompatible with 4.60 software because maybe it is 32 Bit? Regards Mike

Cant say i've tried old softphone under 64 bit ( i have used it in vmware on a mac).
What version of old softphone are you using?
I have used the lastest t1.3.11 on os7200 4.60b with no issue.
Any reason you want to use it over Communicator?

The older version is, indeed, incompatible. The signalling for the older one was really homebrew, so it got formalized when the Communicator came along. It may still connect and get limited functionality, but it definitely isn't supported officially.
