I'm planning to upgrade my CIX1200 from version AR5.20 MT055.00 to AR5.20 MT061. I'm going to use the remote update procedure and just wanted to make sure there was anything I should do to prepare aside from backing up the database. Also, if I encounter any issues following the update, is it possible for me to roll back to the AR5.20 MT055.00 version? Would doing a data restore achieve that? Any insight into the upgrade process overall would be appreciated!

Just curious if you had a reason to do an upgrade? Looking at the release notes, there are a couple small fixes, and a minor SIP trunk enhancement.
I used to be the type of person that would want to run upgrade and updates no matter how small. Now I would rather only upgrade if it adds features or fixes an issue. I had a few minor updates (not nessesarily Toshiba)really mess up my day.
On my home PCs, I'll run every update. For a working business system, if it aint broke....

Im with newtecky on the updates, I usually don't do them unless they are way behind or I need a specific fix/feature. To answer your question though, yes it is possible to roll-back the software level as long as you have a copy of the old software you want to roll back to. Back the system up first and keep a copy of the database file somewhere other than on the SD card.
