I'm trying to implement QoS on system and my ISP has instructed me to enable Diffserv and apply a DSCP marking of 46 to VoIP traffic. When I look in eManager, I see a number of different places to set these values, so I'm a little confused as to what each is value is used for. From what I've found, my options are:
Program 150 System IP Data 03 Diffserv (enable/disable) 06 DSCP (value 0-63) 20 SIP Trunk Diffserv (enable/disable) 23 SIP Trunk DSCP (value 0-63)
Program 327 SIP Trunk Service Kind Assignment 23 Diffserv for Media (enable/disable) 26 DSCP for Media (value 0-63) 27 Diffserv for Signaling (enable/disable) 30 DSCP for Signaling (value 0-63)
Any suggestions or best practices?
