Hey.

I am installing a 4COIU card to a DSX-40 cabinet. I physically have the card installed and I have a dialtone hooked up to it. I have configured the card through the System Administration program as far as I can tell.

When I try to pick up the new line from a phone, I get a busy signal. I do have dial-tone on the line coming into the system.

Any ideas? This is my first DSX-40 upgrade.

Further, if I move the cable from CO1-4 into the port for CO5-8, the dialtone for line 1 does come up on the button for line 5.

Apparently, the cable I made was the problem. I made another one and I no longer have this problem.
