hi all,
today's question is in regard to toll restriction(office and area code), usage of the traveling class tr override code, and resulting failure of the 4-digit at&t account code.
this station has class 1 tr set up using office and area codes. class 1 tr only allows 911 calls.
i programmed tr class 8 to allow all area and office codes. i assigned a 4-digit override code(7332) to class 8 tr.
when a toll call is placed, at&t prompts for an account code. account codes are 4 digits followed by a #. at&t is not hearing the account code digits, but is hearing the #. needless to say, toll calls are not completing from tr stations using the traveling class override code. other, non-tr stations are completing toll calls without issue. local calls, from tr stations using the traveling class override code(7332), complete without issue.
the service is an at&t p.r.i; lcr is not being used. processors are b5's with final release 4.3 software.
the ultimate goal here is for a phone user with a tr override code to be able to complete a call to any area/office code, from a tr station.
tia, bill

In prog 48, did you use 0 for no digit restriction?
