Howdy,

Any one know the gist on how to program an old Premier system? puke

I've got a customer with a blown CPU and I'm replacing the CPU tomorrow with one I'm having shipped in.

I haven't touched one for 12+ years.

Is it with a straight through serial using Hyperterminal?

Can't seem to find a manual either...

Thanks!

The Premier ESP 1224/2460 installation manual says "the terminal and output devices must be RS232C compatible with a male 25 pin subminiture D connector". As I recall we used Hyper terminal to program these and a regular cable bought from radio shack, but the manual does have a pinout that only uses the first 8 pins and possibly pin 20.
