Have a 7100 system with two sets of phone I am trying to ring in order. Line 201 and 206 for about 2 rings and then lines 204 and 212 after for 2 rings. I have 201 and 206 in group 501 with the next group to be 502. Then I have group 502 with 204 and 212 in group 502 with the next group to be VM in 519. What is happening is when you call in line 201 and 206 ring twice then lines 204 and 212 ring once then jump back and forth to the first two then the second two. Single rings and quickly. Now I am stuck. Thoughts?

In each group there is a "next port" and number of seconds before it goes there.

Destination in MMC601 for group 501 should be 502, destination for 502 should be 519.

Don't forget the number of seconds before next port.

Also original group continues to ring on inbound calls. Its not bouncing back and forth it is actually ringing both groups at different times.

So if you have trunks ringing to 501 then transfering to group 502, is there a way to stop the original group from ringing? I think this could be annoying to the original group,

I've never figured out a way to do that, wish it could. Only stops ringing once it goes to vmail.

Unconditional ring groups will keep ringing

Only thing you can do it send the call into a mailbox with no greeting and then send it to the overflow group
