Hi All,
We just upgraded to Avaya IP500 and if someone calls from outside and press 9 - i want them to hear a tone prompt to leave a message not hear voicemail extension greetings again.

What type of voicemail? Embedded or VM Pro, and which mode, IP Office or Intuity?

Use a voice question instead of leave mail. You will need to play a wav file (your beep) and then set a recording time.

Can you please explain further, i see the icon to add a voice question to the phone tree but not sure how to continue, i am new to the system
