Ok guys, Here is a new one. I have a SBX installation coming up and the customer is going to have a digital phone and an analog cordless phone that he can forward his calls to when he goes roaming into the warehouse. My question is, if he forwards the digital to his cordless and he is on the phone, or does not answer the call, is there a way to make it go back to the original station's (his digital extension) mailbox?

Not that I can think of. You could put both of the extensions in a ring group and have his calls directed to that group. When no one answers, it can forward to his digital extension.

Ok, maybe it isnt a DUH moment. I have set the digital station to not auto forward to VM, set it up for pre set call forward to group 620 and I have the analog station in group 620. When I call the digital station, it just keeps ringing the station and does not go to the group. What am I missing?

Ok, maybe it isnt a DUH moment. I have set the digital station to not auto forward to VM You can't do that. The hunt group will forward to the digital extension, the digital extension will then forward to the voice-mail. My suggestions was to have both the analog and the digital extensions in the hunt group. Callers would then access him by dialing 620. It might be easier to forget the hunt groups and assign a voice-mail button (on the digital phone) for the analog extension. Then if calls were forwarded to the cordless, the user would have the voice-mail indicated on his other phone. Of course this would mean recording two greetings.

It will work if I just dial the Group Box (620), but when I transfer a call to Group 620, it rings the phones, but instead of going to voice mail, it announces to the caller "invalid entry" and does a transfer recall.

You can't transfer a caller to the group? That's weird.

Yeah, according to Darren at Hoosier you can. Just not on my system. I guess it is just me. I have sent him my database. He says he does it in his training class. Anyway, thank you for your help.
